Yahoo!7 and Lasttix a new online last minute entertainment destination, have today announced a partnership which will see Lasttix’s entertainment ticketing offers integrated into the Yahoo!7 Frontpage.
Using Yahoo!7’s unique RAMP advertising technology Lasttix will be able to dynamically and in real-time update its ticketing offerings directly into the Yahoo!7 Frontpage via a new front page premium position.
RAMP is a unique ad serving technology custom built by Yahoo!7 which allows advertisers to maintain their own advertising creative executions on the Yahoo!7 network. The technology removes layers of creative costs while allowing for best-in-class geo, time and day targeting.
“We’re pleased to have Lasttix on board as our ticketing partner. We’ve seen great success with the RAMP technology to date with travel partner Virgin Blue and we’re confident that this innovative format will allow Lasttix to be highly responsive and flexible in a time-sensitive and competitive market segment such as ticketing,” said Emma Harrington, Director, Partnerships, Yahoo!7.
“Yahoo!7 has both the scale of audience, and the premium environments for advertisers, and RAMP is another example of how we are delivering beyond the traditional banner and button advertising format to truly partner with our clients,” she said.
Lasttix is a new site that is dedicated to bringing Australian consumers great value entertainment tickets at the last minute. The last minute concept has proven to be successful in a number different industries and Lasttix will aim to fill a current gap in the ticketing space by providing a discreet channel for promoters to sell quality seats usually reserved for A-listers and celebrities as well as surplus or unsold tickets that would have otherwise gone unsold.
For the consumer, Lasttix represents a unique way to find great value entertainment tickets at the last minute. Lasttix will launch with a number of exciting ticket offer types including Lasttix Savers, Lasttix Extras, Happy Hour and Golden Tickets.
Lasttix CEO Christopher Plowman said: “We are delighted to partner with Yahoo!7 and promote Lasttix offers on the Yahoo!7 Frontpage. There is a strong correlation between having fun and spontaneously doing things at the last minute. Our partnership with Yahoo!7 will allow us to promote our great entertainment offers to millions of Australians and encourage them to get out and experience live entertainment at great prices.”
Lasttix is now live at Yahoo!7.
