SMG Red to Bolster Queensland Market

The Seven Media Group is expanding the SMG Red Integration team into the Queensland market with the appointment of Philippa Spork to the role of SMG Red Integrated Sales Manager.

Spork will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative media solutions for Queensland clients on behalf of Seven, Yahoo!7 and Pacific Magazines.

Her appointment will be effective from Thursday 8 October, 2009. Spork will work closely with SMG Red Integrated Sales Director, Jenny Hosie and the Brisbane sales directors, Susan Davis (Channel Seven) Judy Taylor (Pacific Magazines) and Damon Scarr (Yahoo!7).

Spork joins the SMG Red team with a comprehensive understanding of the sales and marketing process. Prior to joining SMG Red, she was the Senior Integration Strategist for the Nine Network responsible for all cross platform and in‐program integration initiatives. Before that she worked at ACP Magazines as Client Strategy Manager responsible for business development and growth of existing clients and prior to that Senior Group Account Director at ACP for key accounts overseeing some of Australia’s largest clients. Her professional career started after completing her Masters of Commerce majoring in Marketing at Sydney University.
