Encore Takeover

Yahoo!7 ENCORE

How it works

On the first visit to the page, the extended layer will push down page content for duration of 8 seconds. If the user clicks to engage with the layer then it will remain down until the close button is clicked. In both cases the layer will push up when closing, bringing content up with it, in which case it'll resolve to the strap layer.

On subsequent visits the peek layer will push down content for 8 seconds then resolve into the strap layer. Clicking on the peek layer will take the user to the advertiser’s landing page.

Rolling over the strap layer in both the above circumstances will open the extended layer again until the user clicks close or rolls off the extended layer. A button/area that clicks through to the advertisers landing page can also be included if desired.

IMPORTANT Please download the Encore Tech Spec checklist sheet here in order to see a complete detailed list of deliverables required and information relating directly to the ENCORE execution.
