Yahoo!7 offers advertisers the creative showcase to display the best online media campaigns.
Clickable & Embedded Video Player Streaming
Video player ad units run within Yahoo!7 media players across the network, this in turn means that your product is showcased to a large audience that understand the power of video, they use this medium every day to view the content that they wish and while doing so they will be witness to the product on display.
There are two types of players across the Yahoo!7 network that give you this possibility. One, the Clickable Video player, upon clicking of a link to request playing of some form of video content, the user will be presented with a video player at a larger resolution in a window over the top of the content. Before the video starts, a 15 to 30 seconds advertisement will be shown, upon completion of the advertisement, the content the user requested will be displayed.
The second video player found across the network is known as an Embedded Player, within this video player rather than a new window being displayed, the video content will play inline with the page, however as per the Clickable Video Player before the content is played, a 15 to 30 second advertisement will be displayed, once the advertisement finishes the content the user requested will be displayed.
Please be aware that there is a frequency cap on both Clickable and Embedded Video Players for advertisements, in these regard an advertisement will be displayed for every 1 in 3 video streams, this ultimately means that for every three videos that a a user watches they will see just the one advertisement.
The benefits of using either player are quite significant, beside the user reach and the targeted audience you can capture, the video players have a few added options. While the video advertisement is playing it is possible to click through to the advertisers chosen URL, this won't interrupt the user's viewing experience, further to this a call to action can be displayed over the video when the user rolls over it, this text can help to elevated your brand and provide context for the video advertisement currently playing.

Delivery by FTP site or other online methods is preferable however delivery by CD ROM or DVD is acceptable.

Please note that the Video Players are proprietary Yahoo! creations and as such unfortunately cannot be Third Party served, they do however as noted above, allow for ways to track the performance of your Streaming Video Player campaign via Third Party click tracking and Impression URL's. Please supply separate unique tracking URL's for each placement you wish to track so the data isn't compromised.
